Do you speak coffee? Kaffeekommune dictionary gives you a glimpse into how we think and talk. Take this light-heartedly — coffee is important, but it’s also fun.
Where the →coffee comes from. Usually it means the country e.g. Costa Rica, Ethiopia or Indonesia. When you read “single origin” on the package, it means this coffee grows in that specific country. In the wine industry you would say it’s from Germany, Italy, America and so on. In the speciality coffee industry a “single origin” coffee comes usually at least from a specific region. Why is this important? We believe the more you know about your coffee, the greater the chance to make a nice one.
