Two years ago, we tasted our first decaffeinated coffee that was truly delicious. Sweet, nutty, and with a nuanced fruitiness. The complex aroma comes from the so-called E.A.-Decaf or Decaf De Caña decaffeination process. In this method, ethyl acetate (EA) is naturally derived from sugarcane. This then extracts the caffeine from the green coffee of surrounding farmers. The quality of the coffee convinced us, and it is good for everyone who currently cannot/does not want to consume caffeine but does not want to miss out on specialty coffee.
