The taste combines everything that brings joy to an outstanding specialty coffee. The florality of an Ethiopian coffee, the juiciness of an SL28/34 varietal, and the Colombian characteristic yellow stone fruit. As luck would have it, Jairo Arcila is the husband of Luz Helena Salazar. We also had a great Pink Bourbon from her last year. Her son Felipe Arcila runs the farm Jardines del Eden, from which we currently have the Improved Typica in our assortment. So, a family completely dedicated to coffee and consistently producing insane qualities. The coffee was processed on the farm and at Cofinet's processing station "La Pradera". One of the most modern processing stations in Colombia with computer-controlled temperature and residual moisture measurements for the entire duration of the processing and for each LOT. This results in the wonderful clarity of the aromas.
