The GLXY | MLKY is designed to be a coffee for any time of day and preparation method. Easygoing, yet naturally sweet and not bitter. A coffee that works well as a filter for breakfast or as an espresso in a cappuccino. Newcomer or seasoned specialty coffee drinker; it doesn't matter. This coffee is for everyone. At least, that's what we think ;)

This community coffee is the result of the commitment of women who actively want to highlight their important role in coffee production. It was created by a group of female coffee farmers who contribute their coffee cherries to this high-quality community blend.

The women are members of the Cooxupé Cooperative and partners of SMC, the organization through which this coffee is sourced. The female coffee farmers are committed to improving coffee quality and receive support from the cooperative through advice from an agronomist, as well as online forums for knowledge exchange and networking. They are supported in their efforts to produce the highest quality coffees through offerings such as lectures, workshops, courses, and discussions on relevant topics.

Each year, contributions from two medium and two small farms are carefully combined. This structure allows us a sufficient quantity while maintaining a reliable and traceable relationship with this group of female coffee farmers and ensuring a consistent, stable flavor profile that we highly value.

Harvest & Post-Harvest

The coffee cherries are harvested both by hand and machine. This coffee is processed naturally, with the whole coffee cherries being dried. The cherries are then dried on a patio in the sun.
